Model R-471 grates are available in standard or deep pit designs — for rectangular or contour areas. Protect both people and the environment in which they are installed. They offer solid footing and abrasive surfaces, and they are available in a variety of materials and colors to complement any entry area. The grates and mats also reduce building maintenance costs by minimizing the dirt, mud and residue that foot traffic otherwise tracks into a building.

General note regarding sustainability and environmental impact:

While not a requirement for LEED, please note that cushions and hinges on all mats and grates are PVC-free. They are made from corn-based biopolymer blended with either recycled low-density or recycled high-density polyethylene.
