striations cut perpendicular to tread rails to create a waffle pattern

with keylocks standard every three inches. Aluminum and architectural
bronze thin line grates add a sleek, clean look to entrances. Both
waffle-cut and plain thin line grates are available with flat, serrated or
aluminum oxide grit treads.

Systems feature Buffed nylon-reinforced truck and airplane tires provide
the absorbent tread surface. Double-sided treads make symmetrical grates
reversible. These grates also last longer than virtually any other type of
textile entrance mat or grate. Flexible low-density polyethyene hinge
retained in a "captive" aluminum tread port, with drain holes to allow
debris and moisture to flow through the mat and continuous bottom cushions
to reduce noise.
